RENTON, Wash., Feb. 26, 2020 – PACCAR Parts is proud to announce the 2020 Peterbilt Parts Council. The council partners with PACCAR Parts to empower Peterbilt dealerships across the United States and Canada to pursue successful business development opportunities. Through this collaboration, PACCAR Parts and the council maximize customer uptime and provide the highest quality customer service.

“The Peterbilt Parts Council is comprised of outstanding parts sales, operations and marketing professionals from Peterbilt dealerships in the United States and Canada,” said Danny Landholm, Peterbilt national sales manager, PACCAR Parts. “Over the coming year, the council will focus on optimizing existing programs and services and finding new, innovative ways to maximize uptime for Peterbilt customers.”

RENTON, Wash., Feb. 25, 2020 – PACCAR Parts is a proud participant of Hiring Our Heroes, a program hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Foundation to help veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses find meaningful employment.

PACCAR Parts, as a Corporate Fellowship employer, will host two Hiring Our Heroes fellows in the first quarter. The fellowship program organizes cohorts of up to 40 active duty service members, including veterans and military spouses. Fellows are carefully matched with participating companies and undergo a 12-week fellowship program with on-the-job training, networking events and weekly educational sessions.

Since 2017, PACCAR Parts has hired 13 Hiring Our Heroes participants into full-time positions. “The Corporate Fellowship provided me with an invaluable opportunity to get real work experience with a great company. PACCAR Parts takes the time to create a plan for the fellows they host. Transitioning from military to civilian life is extremely challenging, but PACCAR Parts allowed me to prove myself, and I am forever grateful,” said Rob Thomas, PACCAR Parts customer support supervisor.
